Phew at last! The ABC super 8 semi final clash between Dynamos and Caps United which has been hanging in the balance is now confirmed on. The Harare Derby which had a cloud of doubt hanging over it as a result of developments at De-mbare will take place according to the chairman of the club Patson Moyo.
Moyo said they have since acquired a high court order evicting the ‘illegal occupants’ of the Eastlea offices.
“We got the order today and they have left so everything should take its course now. Off course we still need to have a small audit to determine the level of vandalism and the losses, bit I can confirm on behalf of the club that we will play caps united,” said Moyo.
The team started training in the afternoon in preparation for the match against their bitter rivals. The match is expected to be the highlight of this weekend’s football action which also sees Chapungu playing Lengthens in the other semi final.
Meanwhile a lone strike by Edward Sadomba became the point of separation between the Warriors and the Zebra’s of Botswana in an international friendly played on Wednesday. Sadomba is expected to play a lead role in the match against a determined Caps United whose last victory saw them scoring six goals.
Caps United boss Twine Phiri said they were ready for Dynamos.
“We are ready to play them and we are leaving nothing to chance and I believe we will beat them, said Phiri.
