No deal has been sealed between any of the feuding political parties in Zimbabwe's power sharing talks that were being held in Harare since Sunday, president of the small MDC formation said on Wednesday.

Authur Mutambara told journalists in Harare that his party had not sealed any agreement with ZANU PF to form a government describing media reports to that effect as false and baseless.
The government's mouth piece The Herald on Wednesday carried a screaming headline suggesting that a deal had been struck between ZANU PF and Mutambara to form a government in the event of Tsvangirai walking out of the talks.
Mutambara said: "A lot of media reports have come out that Mutambara has entered into a deal with ZANU PF. It is totally false and baseless."
By end of Tuesday no deal had been struck between the three political parties. Briefing journalists in Harare early hours of Wednesday, South African President Thabo Mbeki also dismissed any reports of any deal between ZANU PF and Mutambara.
"There is no agreement between any of the parties and if there is any it is something that could be outside the negotiations," he said.
Mutambara said no bilateral deal can be sealed in the tripartite negotiating framework adding that if any deal is to be hammered it has to involve all the parties.
"There is no way you can extract a bilateral agreement from a tripartite framework. The talks must not be allowed to crumble. The political parties must work together ahead of petty party ambitions," he said.
The three principals are said to have been in agreement to every aspect that had been tabled but on Tuesday Tsvangirai requested for leave to reflect on one aspect of the talks.
Noone has explained the sticking aspect and it is not clear when the facilitator will reconvene a meeting to conclude the talks.
Talks began on the 23 of July after the three parties signed a memorandum of understanding as a framework to the dialogue.
